TREASURER:Patti Jones
Patti Jones has two loves: music and sports. “My love for music started with my maternal grandfather, William R. Baker, Sr., who would play Scott Joplin’s music on his upright piano.” Two other musical influences were Patti’s aunt, jazz vocalist Bettie Wellman (professionally known as Jyene Baker) and her uncle Eddie Baker, the director of the New Breed Orchestra and one of the founders of the Charlie Parker Memorial Foundation (CMPF) in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1985, Ms. Jones became the administrative assistant at the CPMF enjoying a seven year stint officially and another seven years unofficially.

Since 1995 she has served on the Finance Council for her church.
Ms. Jones earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Public Administration from California State University in Los Angeles, California, and a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
